Ultraleap Demo - Product Experience
Overview
A demo experience intended to capture the feel of a luxury brand and show how Ultraleap TouchFree could be used to engage customers.
The goal was to build a demo with high quality visuals and robust interactions. Something people at a trade show could use it without instruction.
The demo featured three types of product each showing a unique interaction. Zooming into the exploded parts of a watch, rotating perfume on a turntable and inspecting the details of a bag.
Approach
Built with React and packaged with Tauri for easy deployment for demos.
The big challenge with this project was capturing the feeling of luxury, while deploying to modest media players without a lot of graphical power.
Knowing that 3D graphics wouldn't give the result we needed, with the power available, I guided the implementation towards flip book animation, videos and offline rendering.
