Overview
Challenged with the need for luxury retail demo for TouchFree my team at Ultraleap created a fictional brand, Madronzio. Creators of perfume, watches and handbags while embodying craftsmanship and fine detail.
The only problem, we wanted interactive visuals of luxury products on modest media players.
The solution, offline rendering in Blender and flip-book animations in the web browser.
Approach
I modelled a range of perfume bottles, with graphics created by our UX designer Chris Mair. These were rendered in Cycles, so we could get the full effect of refraction through glass and perfume combined as the bottles spun around.
Background images from the Birmingham Museums Trust on Unsplash added depth and helped give each one a unique look.
